When having a puppy or any kind of pet, you take a responsibility. It`s like taking care of a baby. You have to take care of your dog, keep the animal healthy, go to the doctor, feed and walk him etc. Most owners keep their precious dogs, indoors, in the house. Puppies usually need our attention constantly. If the puppy is  left alone, he starts crying and makes loud sounds that eventually will annoy you. To stop puppy from crying you can play with him all day, so that after a while he is exhausted. Dogs become restless when they are not active and they start howling and crying. Another thing you can do to stop them crying is giving them toys to play with and to create a place of their own.



Having something to keep them busy is a great way to stop worrying about your pet. Crying can be stopped also through practice. If you leave your dog outside, alone for long periods you might have problems with neighbors. So, a great way to deal with crying, is to practice leaving them alone and outside. Start with a couple of minutes a day. The dog has to learn that nothing will happen if he`s left alone. After  a while you can reward the dog with treats. This works also when they are trained to take orders, like sit, play dead , walk etc.

Whining is a natural behavior for a puppy. Only when the whining or crying drags on and on and becomes a long term persistent habit that it becomes a problem for us dog lovers. Dogs are very loving creatures that get attached very quickly. It`s normal to cry after the owner goes away. They are like little babies that need their mom. Dogs are very friendly and sociable and it`s hard to leave them alone because they are a good company . But loving your pet doesn`t mean you have to do everything he wants. Dogs , even big ones cry for many reasons : firstly they cry because they seek attention. They can also feel uncomfortable.

Maybe where they sit is cold, or wet and they cry to get our attention and do something about it. If the crying continues then you should see if the dog has a problem, like a wound. Puppies cry a lot because they always feel lonely and bored. They need attention and you always have to play with them. The most common reason of their crying is their need to go to the toilet, this is if they are already trained to hold themselves until they go for a walk. Also a hungry or thirsty dog will often cry or whine.

As a conclusion, dogs need our attention as much as any other member of the family. The dog can be our best friend and we should take care of him. People who have pets, are good people with great hearts.
