Sometimes crying can be scary and people hesitate and try to stay strong, because crying means losing control over your emotions. For some, crying is a sign of weakness and so they avoid it. “you just need a good cry” as they say is usually followed by joy and a feeling of relief. Many of us have problems at work, at home, and there are times when we can`t handle them and we are almost at the verge of giving up. But a good cry can make you feel better and start over again. Real crying cleanses. It makes us focus on something that really matters and gives us fresh powers. Psychotherapy crying helps you to acknowledge your feelings and your sadness.
The reasons that lead you to cry don`t go away, but crying calms you down and for most of us gives a new perspective. Accepting the situation and your feelings is part of the psychotherapy through crying. After a few moments of crying you can regain self confidence and start all over again. Crying can open your eyes about a certain situation, and only after you reached the bottom you can rise again and start fresh. People need to experience the worst so that they can decide to make a change in their lives. When the situation gets bad, then we start taking decisions.
Crying can be a consequence of a bad day, of a disappointment in love or a break –up, losing someone makes you cry and also does serious heatlh problems. Going to a psychotherapist and start crying can be a bit awkward and people avoid usually taking this kind of treatment. But, that doctor is trained to help you and give you advices. A psychotherapist knows exactly what to say and what subject to explore in order to make you start crying in a constructive way. Only a phrase is necessary sometimes to get a reaction. If you have problems and you feel you can`t take it any more then try crying for a while. It doesn`t hurt and it makes you feel better even if the problems don`t disappear. We all need a cry from time to time. Crying means that you have a heart and real feelings, this is what makes us humans.
